Resumen


La simbiosis rizobio-leguminosa es la que más se ha estudiado en el mundo. Uno de los aspectos más interesantes de esta simbiosis es la especificidad. El objetivo de este trabajo es describir a nivel molecular la secuencia de pasos que se suceden, cuando una planta es colonizada e infectada por bacterias del género Rhizobium, Azorhizobium o Bradyrhizobium. Los flavonoides de las plantas (metabolitos secundarios), inducen la expresión de genes comunes de nodulación nodABC, a través de su interacción con la proteina NodD. Esta interacción da lugar a la síntesis de moléculas, los factores de nodulación. La expresión de los genes de especificidad dan lugar a la decoración de esta molécula central y con ello cambian su capacidad biológica.
